Rawle Alkins has been committed to the University of Arizona for only a few days after his midweek announcement, but the No. 17 ranked player in the Class of 2016 is already working 0n another high-profile recruit.
Saturday via Twitter, Alkins urged Arizona fans to show more love to Terrance Ferguson, a shooting guard from Advanced Prep (Dallas) who is ranked as the No. 13 player in the class.
Alkins is a 6-4 small forward who played his senior year at Word of God Academy in Raleigh, N.C.,
Ferguson decommitted March 1 from Alabama. He had committed to the Crimson Tide in August but then did not sign during the early period. He visited the Tuscaloosa campus on the last weekend in February and then decommitted days later.

“He wants to make the right decision,” coach Ray Forsett said at the time. “He’s very much still interested in going to Alabama, but he wants to pray about it and make sure he’s making the right decision.”
Forsett said the death of Ferguson’s grandmother was a factor in his reopening his recruitment. Ferguson recently changed the name on his Twitter page to #ripGma with a heart.
The spring signing period begins April 13.
