Reynolds has restructured its coaching staff for the upcoming outdoor track season.

Cedric Alexander (boys) and John-Paul Kimbrough (girls) have been hired to coach the teams, while David Honea will oversee the entire program as its director. Honea, who also coaches the Rockets in cross country, will continue to work with their distance athletes.

The Reynolds girls are the defending Mountain Athletic Conference 3-A and 3-A Western Regional champions in cross country and track. The program annually hosts Western North Carolina’s largest outdoor track meet. The 14th edition of the Blue Ridge Classic is scheduled for April 23.
