Senior quarterback Malik Willis accounted for three touchdowns as No. 13 Roswell (Ga.) handled Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, Ga.) in a Class AAAAAAA second-round playoff game, 29-12.
Roswell (12-0) took an early 6-0 lead as the Virginia Tech-bound Willis hit Christian Ford for the touchdown with eight minutes to go in the first quarter (the extra-point attempt was no good).

Kicker Turner Barckhoff hit a 33-yd field goal with 3:30 left in the second quarter, and Roswell extended the lead to 9-0. That score stood until halftime.
With nine minutes to go in the third quarter, four-star recruit Xavier McKinney provided insurance in the form of a 52-yard punt return for a touchdown that pushed the lead to 16-0.
Willis then ran for a 2-yard touchdown around the left end to start the fourth quarter, increasing the Roswell cushion to 23-0.
Willis later hit JaJuan White for a 15-yard score to widen the hosts’ advantage to 29-0. Peachtree Ridge (6-6) rallied with a pair of late scores, but the final result stood. The Hornets tied up the series between the schools, 2-2-1.
