Trey Landers had 15 points in a 65-58 defeat of St. Ignatius (Cleveland) as Wayne (Huber Heights, Ohio), the defending state Division I champion, improved to 11-0 and leaped into the No. 23 spot in the Super 25 boys basketball rankings.

The other new teams are 10-0 Stevens Point, Wis., and 10-3 Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia). No. 24 Stevens Point rolled past Lincoln (Wisconsin Rapids) 92-42 as Trevor Anderson and Sam Hauser each had 21 points. No. 25 Neumann-Goretti had a big week, led by Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree, winning three games, including a 85-68 defeat of then-No. 16 Roman Catholic (Philadelphia) as Cosby-Roundtree had 22 points and 14 rebounds.
While the top 11 teams didn’t change, there’s likely to be more movement in the rankings next week because of the two big events this week: the Spalding Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass.; and the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions in Springfield, Mo. The Hoophall includes 11 Super 25 ranked teams and six other teams that have been in the Super 25 this season. The Bass Pro includes three teams currently in the Super 25 and a fourth that was in the Super 25 earlier this season.
