Reports indicated that the Chiefs fell down into a 21-0 hole in the third quarter, before Chiefs head coach Derek Marshman was ejected for consecutive usportsmanlike conduct penalties.

Shortly after, the Chiefs forfeited the game for a 21-0 loss, sliding to 3-3 on the season.

Baker just too tough for Jay in first district game

The Jay Royals were challenged Friday night with the Baker Gators, who have swept District 1-1A since 2013.

Baker was too strong in all aspects of the game, and turned a 42-0 halftime lead into a 42-6 win over Jay.

To prevent the shutout, Jay’s Connor Moye found Matthew Saylor for a 24 yards touchdown pass.

The Royals picked up 107 rushing yards in the loss.
