The Fighting Irish landed another major commitment on Monday, this time pulling a player out of the recruiting fires of the Lone Star State.
Mansfield wide receiver Paulson Adebo, a four-star prospect, officially committed to Notre Dame’s football program, choosing the Irish ahead of scholarship offers from the likes of Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, LSU and a clutch of other major programs. At 6-foot, 180 pounds, Adebo is already a dominant x-factor on both offense and defense, where he lines up as a safety. As noted by the Dallas Morning-News, Adebo led Mansfield in catches, yardage and touchdowns during his junior season.
Adebo’s decision allows the rising senior to return to preparations for his final campaign with Mansfield. He also has plenty of time to bond with a fellow Notre Dame commit nearby, Cedar Hill quarterback Avery Davis.
