The New Jersey twins committed after spending Saturday on campus. Both defensive prospects received a scholarship offer shortly thereafter, and wasted virtually no time in wrapping up their recruiting process far earlier than many had imagined.
“Really I felt comfortable there. The atmosphere, the great education and the opportunity to be successful there and I believe I fit in that program and be special on the football team as well,” Jayson Ademilola, a defensive tackle, told 247 Sports’ Steve Wilfong.
“Same thing with Jayson,” Justin Ademilola, a linebacker prospect, told Wiltfong. “I fell in love with the campus and players there and the coaches I think I connected with Coach Gilmore there. I told my coach a week and a half ago if Notre Dame offers I’m going to commit there because I think that’s the place to be because of the education and football.”
According to St. Peter’s Prep coach Rich Hansen, both twins could be difference makers at Notre Dame, provided the Irish coaching staff and fans are patient with their development, as he told 247 Sports.
“They’re getting two guys, what they’re doing now is just the tip of the iceberg,” St. Peter’s Prep coach Rich Hansen said. “The potential, Justin is a really good athlete that can play a multiple of positions. It will be interesting how he develops and what role he fills for them and Jayson I think is going to be a monster inside for them.”
“They’re young, a lot of development is going to take place over the next two years and Notre Dame is going to get two potentially dominant football players at that level.”
