The Nigeria men’s basketball team turned around a first-quarter deficit to beat Croatia 90-76 Saturday night in Rio in Olympics group stage play.

Nigeria (1-3) trailed by seven after the first quarter, but led by14 after the third quarter and held on for the win in its fourth of five preliminary round games.

Former CSU star Andy Ogide came off the bench, as he has in all four games, and scored two points for Nigeria. The 6-foot-8, 235-pound forward played 8:01 and attempted just one shot, which he made.

Ogide has played professionally in Spain, France, Russia and Israel since earning first-team All-Mountain West honors in 2011 at Colorado State University.

Nigeria finishes Group B play at 10:15 a.m. Monday against host Brazil.
