The paint you own Ceramics happened last night with many Chartiers Valley art club students participating. Some information on Paint your own ceramics would be that it is a fun activity organized by Kenzi Sinclair. It is going to be held February 29 and 6:00 P.m. or 7:00 p.m. It is going to be in the Chartiers Valley high school cafeteria. The age range to participate in this cool new activity is kindergarten students through second grade students. The ticket price is for the first child 20 dollars, and any additional siblings would be 15 dollars. On the day of the event the students will arrive at either time and chose a ceramic piece. The piece of the child’s choosing will then be painted with glaze by the student. The next day the piece will be dipped into a food safe glaze and fired up in the kiln and returned to the child within the next week. The benefits of the Paint your own Ceramics will be going towards Chartiers Valley High school, and the Art Club at Chartiers Valley. The Paint your own ceramics turned out to be a high success! A total of 60 students showed up and showed their interests and love for art, as well as further expanding their knowledge about art increasing the variety of projects to do with the ceramics. A statement made by Kenzi Sinclair was “it was joyful to see the excitement on all the young students of CV’s faces and how happy it made them to try something new. The hard work and time put into this definitely paid off and I am glad I had the opportunity to raise movie for the Art Club while providing a new exciting activity for the youth of Chartiers Valley.” To sum it all up the Paint your own ceramics was a success and will help the art come this year and years to come.pyoc.fw
