Steel Valley (Pittsburgh, Pa.) senior safety Paris Ford received his Under Armour All-America jersey during a ceremony as part of the Selection Tour presented by American Family Insurance on Friday.

The Under Armour game is Jan. 1 in Orlando.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Pitt commit is ranked as the No. 12 safety and No. 89 player overall by 247Sports.

Before he gets to Orlando, though, Ford has more business to take care of for Steel Valley (11-0)..

Ford is noted for his defense, but he scored a touchdown on offense, on defense and on specials teams last week in a WPIAL Class 2A quarterfinal victory. On the season, he has six rushing TDs, six receiving TDs, four touchdowns on interception returns, four on punt returns and another on a fumble return.

Steel Valley faces Riverside (Ellwood City, Pa.) on Saturday in the semifinals. The teams met in Week 1 with Steel Valley posting a 41-7 victory.

The Ironmen’s defense has been a huge part of the undefeated season, allowing a mere 87 points in 11 games with four shutouts.
