Trailing 28-17 at halftime and 35-17 midway through the third quarter, Poudre staged a late rally spurred by an Erickson 5-yard touchdown run and a 31-yard field goal by Austin Davis to go into the fourth quarter trailing only 35-27.

Poudre quarterback James Campbell threw two touchdown passes to Zach Leal, including a 47-yard strike to give Poudre the 7-0 lead.

The Impalas (5-3, 2-1 Mt. Lincoln) play at Valor Christian next Friday.
