Prep roundup: Rocky Mountain volleyball sweeps Horizon

The Rocky Mountain High School volleyball team used a balanced attack from their hitters and passers to sweep Horizon 25-11, 25-21, 25-11 at home Tuesday night.

Alie McEndaffer led the attack with nine kills while Amelia Berg had eight and Kaylee Kopp chipped in seven kills. Myles Hilbert dished out 15 assists and Carly Bowles rounded out the offensive effort with 12 assists.

Annika Larson contributed 26 digs as the Lobos (13-6, 8-4 FRL) finished conference play with a victory.

RESURRECTION CHRISTIAN 3, STRASBURG 0 — Resurrection Christian capped off their conference season with a 25-12, 25-10, 25-18 sweep over Strasburg. Kyra Zuhlke did it all for the Cougars (12-6, 5-5 Patriot) with nine kills and six service aces while also recording two blocks. Saylor Webb passed the ball effectively, finishing with 22 assists.

FOSSIL RIDGE 3, LAKEWOOD 1 — No. 2 Fossil Ridge (17-2, 11-1 FRL) continued their superb season with a 24-26, 25-22, 25-20, 25-20 win over Lakewood. Catie Semadeni registered 11 kills on 24 swings. Brynn Montgomery and Tyler Lindgren combined for 39 assists.

FORT COLLINS 3, MONARCH 1 — The Lambkins (12-5, 9-3 FRL) took down Monarch in four sets to claim a third-place finish in the Front Range League. Hannah Serbousek buried 14 kills while Trinty Corney had five blocks and five kills. Erika Jones compiled 29 digs. Fort Collins hosts No. 5 Chatfield on Wednesday night.

BERTHOUD 3, WINDSOR 1 — Berthoud beat Windsor (9-10, 7-7 FRL) in four sets, 25-18, 25-18, 16-25, 26-24. Karlie Sorenson and Ally Kennis both had double-doubles for the Wizards. Sorenson finished with 10 kills and 20 digs, and Kennis matched her with 10 kills and added 21 digs.

LEGACY 3, POUDRE 0 — The Impalas (2-18, 2-10 FRL) saw their season end in a 25-18, 25-20, 25-21 defeat to Legacy.
