HENDERSONVILLE The Hendersonville High boys advanced to the District 9-AAA Team Tennis Tournament semifinals with a 5-0 victory over visiting Lebanon on Tuesday afternoon at the Memorial Park tennis courts.
The fourth-seeded Commandos (6-7) won all five singles matches, rendering doubles play unnecessary against the fifth-seeded Blue Devils.
Seniors Kato Richardson, Luke Jacob and Thomas Kohann, along with sophomores Jackson Kinsler and Garrett Franklin, all won their respective matches.
Hendersonville advances to face top-seeded Mt. Juliet on Thursday, May 5, while third-seeded Wilson Central – which defeated sixth-seeded Gallatin by a 4-0 margin on Tuesday – plays second-seeded Beech in the other semifinal.
