Providence volleyball's Lexie Libs wins CJ Athlete of the Week Award

Providence volleyball’s Lexie Libs had 35 assists and 12 blocks in the Pioneers’ semi-state victory, earning The Courier-Journal Southern Indiana Athlete of the Week Award presented by Norton Sports Health.

Last week’s other nominees were Christian Academy of Indiana volleyball’s Sierra Rayzor, West Washington football’s Michael Sizemore and Floyd Central cross country’s Faith Barba.

The Metro Louisville and Southern Indiana Athlete of the Week Awards are part of The Courier-Journal Sports Awards program presented by Norton Sports Health. Each week’s winners will be invited, along with a guest, to this summer’s Courier-Journal Sports Awards Ceremony.
