Chef of the Week
In sports the term “cookin” is reserved for a player who goes on a scoring spree or gets hot during a game and makes big plays on the offensive end.
This week’s “Chef of the Week” award winner is Team CP3 (N.C.) forward Wendell Carter Jr. for capping of the Nike EYBL session with a dominant performance against the No. 1 player in the country.
Carter posted 30 points and 16 rebounds in win over Cal Supreme (Calif.), which features 7-foot center DeAndre Ayton.
Carter, who is now in Spain leading the U17 National Team, averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and three blocks for the fourth and final session in Atlanta.
What better way to enter Peach Jam next week than off a dominant showing.
Poster of the Week
This week’s Poster of the Week winner is E1T1 (Fla.) forward Emmitt Williams for the vicious dunk he managed at the Pangos All-American Camp.
Williams took the pass from his teammate on the right low block and immediately flew up for the strong one-hander over a defender who probably wouldn’t have jumped in hindsight.

Oh No They Didn’t!
This award is reserved for the player who turned in a mind-boggling performance or play that left the crowd in a state of shock and amazement.
This week’s “Oh No They Didn’t” winner is PSA Cardinals (Penn.) point guard Quade Green for embarrassing a defender at the recent Pangos All-Ameircan Camp.
Green was dribbling out on the perimeter when the defender approached; after one more dribble, Green whipped the ball right through the defender’s legs and darted right past him for the easy layup.
Oh yes, he did.
