Sometimes the tattoo doesn’t match the commitment.
Randrecous “Dreak” Davis, a wide receiver from the Atlanta area, has a large red “G” tattoed on his left bicep that looks an awful lot like the logo for the University of Georgia. Except when it came down to decision time, he picked South Carolina.
He told The State in Columbia that it actually came down to South Carolina and Miami, which is where former Georgia coach Mark Richt landed. Davis is a former Georgia commit, having made the decision last July.
“I had it before I went to Georgia. It’s still a great school,” Davis told The State, noting, “But I got the skyline here for Atlanta, and the G for Georgia.”
