Andy Burns is back with the Toronto Blue Jays for their final playoff push.
The Rocky Mountain High School graduate was recalled to the majors Tuesday afternoon.
The Blue Jays host the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday and Thursday, with a weekend series at Boston to finish the regular season. Toronto leads the wild card race, with a one-game lead over Baltimore and two games ahead of Detroit.

Burns, a 2008 Rocky Mountain grad, is a utility infielder. He has appeared in 10 games for the Blue Jays this season, making his MLB debut in June. He has six plate appearances and hasn’t recorded an MLB hit.
He spent most of the season in Triple-A with the Buffalo Bisons. In 111 games with Buffalo, Burns hit .230 with a team-leading 25 doubles. He also had eight home runs and 38 RBIs.
