New Albany girls soccer won its season opener handily in a 7-1 final over Forest Park. Jeffersonville boys beat Louisville Eastern 4-3 in Kentuckiana Cup play.
In volleyball, Brownstown defeated Eastern 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-16) Tuesday.
