Rye Town/Harrison will be doing a good thing on Monday when it hosts a Pink the Rink game in support of breast cancer research. Each of the players will be wearing a pink sweater that includes the initials of a friend or loved one who has battled the disease or is undergoing treatment. The Titans are playing Rivertown and the contest begins at 6:30 p.m.
The rink’s operator, American Skating Entertainment Centers, is donating the gate receipts and there will be a 50/50 raffle during the game. Proceeds will got to Memorial Sloan Kettering, which now has a cancer treatment center in West Harrison.
