S.C. football game hosts worst field-lining job of all-time

Trust us, that headline isn’t an exaggeration. Check out the photo below and judge for yourself.

As Liberty football coach Troy Bowe noted, the lines were drawn by someone affiliated with Pickens High School. Apparently they didn’t use any sort of mechanical aid that would help ensure the lines were drawn straight. As it were, it appears they were painted by a donkey competing in a three-legged race. Perhaps a blindfolded donkey, at that.

The field above apparently was used for the junior varsity game between the two teams, though the varsity squads will get a reprieve by competing at Liberty on Friday rather than Pickens.

Let’s all hope the rather experimental line painting was a one-week phenomenon at Pickens High, which is scheduled to host another varsity game next Friday.
