The presence of Notre Dame commits at the Under Armour All-America Game officially grew Thursday when Mansfield (Texas) four-star prospect Paulson Saiid Adebo accepted his honorary jersey.
Adebo was honored in front of family, friends and teammates during the Selection Tour presented by American Family Insurance at the school.
Adebo is among the top two-way players in Texas. ESPN has him ranked as the No. 15 wide receiver and No. 92 player overall in the nation, while 247Sports has him as the No. 26 cornerback. He is expected to play defense for the Fighting Irish and was among the their top targets in the secondary.
Adebo will join tight end Brock Wright, linebacker David Adams, offensive lineman Robert Hainsey and quarterback Avery Davis as the current Notre Dame commits scheduled to be in Orlando for the Jan. 1 Under Armour game. All are four-star prospects.
Mansfield is 7-2 on the season and faces North Crowley (Fort Worth) on Friday.
