ST. CLAIR The St. Clair High School boys basketball team picked up an impressive overtime victory Thursday night.
The Saints came from behind to defeat St. Clair Shores Lakeview, 61-54 Thursday in a Macomb Area Conference Gold Division game.
“Our kids kept battling,” St. Clair coach Shawn Sharrow said. “We were down nine points going into the fourth quarter. Our kids got big stops on defense in the second half. Buddy Brosky and Devin Dombrow really stepped up and hit some big shots for us.”
Ben Davidson had 18 points, Dombrow had 16 points and Brosky added 15 points. Mario Mattson also added eight for St. Clair.
“The defense in the second half was what won us the game,” Davidson said. “We rebounded the ball huge in the second half. We attacked the rim very well.”
