Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) and Cocoa (Fla.) are both coming off nationally televised victories in the GEICO ESPN High School Kickoff.

Gorman, now ranked No. 1 in the Super 25, handled then-No. 5 Cedar Hill (Texas), 44-14 in a game that was more lopsided than many expected. Cocoa, behind the play of quarterback Bruce Judson Jr., downed Trinity Christian (Jacksonville) in overtime, stopping Trinity’s win streak that dated back to October 2014.

Now Cocoa heads to Las Vegas to face the Gaels, who have won 40 consecutive games.

The matchup between the quarterbacks should be interesting. Tate Martell is an Ohio State commit; Judson is a former Ohio State commit who has now committed to South Florida.

According to USA TODAY High School Sports’ score predictor, Gorman holds the edge.

Score Predictor uses data from the Super 25 computer to compare two teams and plays multiple simulations to determine the most likely result.
