GALLATIN Alex Vanzant scored with 34 seconds left as Beech rallied to defeat Gallatin 28-24 on Friday evening at Calvin Short Field.

It ruined Jordan Mason’s 296-yard performance in which the Green Wave senior scored three touchdowns.

Beech (5-2, 3-1 6-5A) ran 7:36 off the clock on the game-winning drive. Gallatin fell to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in region play.

The Buccaneers blocked two kicks, including a punt which Brady Campbell returned 26 yards for a touchdown.

Hendersonville 24, Station Camp 12

HENDERSONVILLE Hendersonville quarterback Brett Coker had two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in a 24-12 victory at Memorial Stadium.

Hendersonville (5-2, 2-2 Region 6-5A) trailed early after a pair of field goals by Station Camp kicker Aiden Curd that put the Bison (3-4, 1-3) up 6-0 early.

The Commandos led 17-12 midway through the fourth quarter before a Coker-to-Austin Halas 18-yard touchdown sealed the victory.

Westmoreland 20, Eagleville 17

WESTMORELAND A 49-yard field goal as time expired preserved Westmoreland’s 20-17 victory over visiting Eagleville.

Lucas James led the way with two touchdown runs, while Tate Sloan added another rushing score.

The victory moves Westmoreland to 3-4 and 2-2 in Region 4-2A, while Eagleville falls to 2-4 overall.
