Players to watch: Nasean Roseberry, J.R. Lucas and Dalton Maggard. Roseberry ranked 12th in 4-A in rushing (101 carries for 933 yards and 7 TDs), Lucas was sixth in passing (136 for 245 for 1,538 yards and 22 TDs) and Maggard seventh in receiving (35 catches for 709 yards and 12 TDs) last season. The two juniors and senior (Maggard) return to lead the Titans’ high-powered offense.

Other top players: RB-WR/DB Sam Harrod (Sr.), RB-WR/LB Nick Eades (Jr.), WR/LB Zachary Smith (Sr.), RB/LB Zach Stucker (Jr.), OL/DL Seth Staples (Jr.).

Outlook: “We have struggled at times with our youth and injuries over the last couple of seasons, but we’ve played some really good teams and we think we can have an excellent team the next couple of years,” said Lucas, whose team features a strong junior class. “We need to stay healthy, as always, and keep getting better every week, but we think we have a chance.” While Roseberry, Lucas (the coach’s son) and Maggard lead the offense, the defense will be paced by Eades (118 tackles last year), Smith (96 stops) and Stucker (81 tackles), who was all-district last season.
