Senior Year

Senior year in high school is a wonderful time because the only responsibility is doing your work and maintaining your grades. Other than that, you are a young teenager with very little pressure and stress, enjoying the easy times of life. High school is filled with a wide range of students who are uniquely different in character, emotion and energy. Senior year is a time spent reflecting back on all those years in the classroom while looking ahead to new adventures of work or college. Senior year is also about making plans and decisions that will lead you on the path of your dreams. As a senior, there are a few tips I can give to under classmen…

It is never too early to start preparing. Even if you are the only one taking the SATS or ACTS in your grade, it will pay off when you have it out of the way rather than stressing over it last minute.

Do not try to be something you are not because that is when you end up making a fool out of yourself. Enjoy the things you want to enjoy and the most important opinion is yours. Stay true to your family, friends and self. Do not let people peer pressure you and you do not have to be everybody’s friend because not everyone will like you. The right people will find their way into your life.

Lastly, enjoy the time you have in high school. It has a way of going by quicker than you think and before you know it, you will be graduated wondering where that time went. It is said to be the easiest time of your life so enjoy being young, wild and free.
