Chef of the Week

In sports the term “cookin” is reserved for a player who goes on a scoring spree or gets hot during a game and makes big plays on the offensive end.

This week’s “Chef of the Week” award Foothills Christian (El Cajon, Calif.) forward T.J. leaf for posting 43 points and 21 rebounds in a recent loss to No. 1 Chino Hills (Chino Hills, Calif.).

Leaf, a UCLA signee, went 20-of-24 from the field in the loss.

Poster of the Week

This week’s Poster of the Week winner is High Point Christian Academy (High Point, N.C.) forward Edrice “Bam  Bam” Adebayo for nearly going through a defender for the flush in a recent loss to Greensboro Day (Greensboro, N.C.).

Adebayo, a Kentucky signee, brought the ball up and hit the defender with a vicious right-to-left crossover then took flight and the defender, who had just been crossed up, tried to recover for the block.

Bad idea.

Adebayo punched home the two-hander with no regard for the rim’s hinges.

Check it out below.

Oh No They Didn’t!

This award is reserved for the player who turned in a mind-boggling performance or play that left the crowd in a state of shock and amazement.

This week’s “Oh No They Didn’t” winner is Hammond School (Columbia, S.C.) point guard Seventh Woods for jumping clear over his trainer Marseilles Brown’s head during a workout.

Sometimes when you see these types of dunks the person underneath the rims crouches down a bit, but Brown was completely turned around and even yawned while Woods, a North Carolina signee, took flight.

Oh yes he did.

Check it out below.

Steady calling I ain't calling bike 😂😂😂😂 @marseilles_brown @plies #RitzCarlton🔥 #ranoffontheplugtwice
