Wednesday’s late signing period saw several Fort Collins high school athletes pledge to continue playing sports in college.

Eight athletes from Rocky Mountain will continue their athletic careers in college. Kacey Doner will run cross-country and track at the University of Wyoming. Bryan Hird will run cross-country and track at CSU. Adrian Veliz Smith will play boys soccer at Western Nebraska Community College. Daphne Williams will swim at Colorado School of Mines. Taira Cottingham will play volleyball at East Carolina University. Michaela Kriewall will play volleyball at Laramie County Community College. Morgan Weatherwax will play volleyball at College of Southern Idaho, and Scott Creighton will play football at Dordt College.

Poudre’s Diego Calderon will wrestle at Western State Colorado University.
