Providence pitcher Jake Lewis sealed his decision to play baseball at Eastern Kentucky Wednesday, signing his letter of intent at Providence High School. The 6-foot-2 southpaw is coming off a career year, helping lead the Pioneers to their first state title with a 9-2 record and an ERA well under 1.00.
Another local baseball player to sign his letter of intent was Austin’s Tanner Craig, who signed with Evansville.
In addition, Scottsburg’s Paige Barrett signed with Murray State, and New Albany’s Chyna Anthony signed with Northern Kentucky.
