Couldn’t make it to Nyack last night, but I’ll get to see the Indians eventually. Here’s what happened around the section:



Rye Neck 5, Valhalla 0: Olivia Dunne tossed her third no-hit performance of the week for the Panthers in a rematch of last year’s Class B section final.

Albertus Magnus 7, O’Neill 6 (9 innings): Rebecca Ramos drove in the winning run with a walk-off squeeze bunt. Paulina Dore hit a three-run home run for the Falcons.

White Plains 5, Rye 4 (8 innings): Gabi Critelli’s two-out walk-off single won it for the Tigers in the semifinals of the Nyack tournament. Juliet Lodes added a solo home run in the win.

Dobbs Ferry 3, Pleasantville 2, 8: Jeanne Longworth drove in the game-winning run on a sacrifice fly to plate Katie Knezevic. Knezevic was 1-for-2 with a pair of runs. Sam Turco struck out five to pick up the win.

Pawling 25, Peekskill 2 (5 innings): Katie Meyer struck out nine in the win. Olivia Zoeller went 3-for-5 with a double and twice RBIs. Jodi Glickert went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI in the loss.

Hamilton 29-20, Woodlands 7-0: Miranda Signor went 8-for-8 with six RBIs in both wins of a doubleheader. Ellie Satin went 6-for-6 for the Red Raiders.

Brewster 6, Fox Lane 2: Katie Alexander hit her first home run for the Foxes.

Hen Hud 8, John Jay 2: Ashley Lupi and Gabby Caruso each homered for the Sailors. Shannon Karabic added two RBIs.

Panas 10, Ossining 5: Remi Urreta went 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Danielle Petrovich added an RBI sacrifice fly for the Panthers.

Ardsley 17, North Salem 7: Lauren Rende hit a two-run home run in the win. Dani Scaperrotta went 3-for-4 with four RBIs for the Panthers.

Pelham 17, Lincoln 0 (5 innings): Sarah Guido struck out five and went 4-for-4 with three doubles and three RBIs. Janney Collens added a 3-for-3 day with three RBIs.
