For Master Sargeant Mike Wilson, Sunday’s night Semper Fidelis All-American Game was a special experience.

Wilson, an assistant recruiter instructor based out of Marine Corps Recruiting Station Detroit, was able to watch his son, Tru, play for the Semper Fi East team.

Tru Wilson is a safety for De La Salle Collegiate in Warren, Mich., and is considering the service academies and has offers at safety, corner and running back. He also is a contributor on special teams.
