Nick Wright of Bloomington South and Grant Ellis added two hits each for the South, who got breathing room by scoring three ninth-inning runs.
John Cheatwood of Richmond got the Game 3 win after allowing one run in three innings with four strikeouts. Jeremy Griggs of Lafayette Jeff got the loss.
In Saturday’s Game 2, Crews went 3-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBIs.
The South built a 9-0 lead by the end of the third inning and added six in the sixth.
Justin Jenkins of Terre Haute South went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and Wright added three RBIs for the South.
Logan Green of Huntington North drove in both North runs in the seventh.
Cal Krueger of Jasper picked up with win for the South, going three innings. North starter Jackson Anthrop of Lafayette Central Catholic took the loss.
In the opener, Justin Reed of Lawrence North pitched three shutout innings to help the South keep the lead in its 7-6 win. Spencer Mattix of Knightstown got the victory. Zack Thompson of Wapahani picked up the loss.
A.J. Nixon of New Albany went 3-for-5 for the South, and Mitchell Garrity of Perry Meridian added two hits.
Zach Turnbough of Lake Central, Hunter Thorn of Portage and Luke Budzielek of Hobart each had two hits for the North.
