Roberson alum Cameron Maybin is back in Major League Baseball as of this week.
And back with the team that originally drafted him out of high school nonetheless.
Maybin is batting .667 with an RBI and pair of stolen bases for the Detroit Tigers (18-21) since making his season debut on Monday. He was activated from the disabled list after recovering from a wrist injury.
The Tigers selected Maybin with the 10th overall pick in the 2005 MLB draft.
He went on to play for Atlanta, Miami and San Diego. Maybin was part of a trade between the Braves and Tigers back in November.
