Thompson is the Sumner Star of the Week after rushing for 145 yards and five touchdowns (of 9, 10, 11, 11 and 38 yards), catching two passes for 55 yards and a touchdown (of 41 yards), recording two tackles and two pass breakups in the Knights’ 56-42 victory over South Warren (Ky.).

Alex Vanzant, RB-DB, Sr.
Vanzant rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries, returned two kickoffs for 48 yards and recorded an interception in the Buccaneers’ 35-12 loss at Hillsboro.

Dezmond Chambers, WR-DB, Sr.
Chambers caught seven passes for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Green Wave’s 54-28 loss to Cane Ridge.

Eric Tilson, RB-DB, Sr.
Tilson returned an interception 95 yards for a touchdown in the Commandos’ 41-7 victory at Hunters Lane.

Emmanuel Johnson, WB-DB, Sr.
Johnson rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown on nine carries and caught two passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers’ 56-18 loss at Macon County.

Kaemon Dunlap, RB-DB, Jr.
Dunlap rushed for two touchdowns in the Bison’s 51-6 victory over Glencliff.
Westmoreland
Lucas James, RB-LB, Sr.
James recorded 15 tackles (11 solo) in the Eagles’ 49-30 loss to Watertown.

Eddy Walker, TE-LB, Soph.
Walker caught a 10-yard touchdown pass in the Blue Devils’ 42-8 loss to Maplewood.
