Duncanville (Tx.), which won the Texas 6A title several weeks ago, retained the top spot, followed by Paul VI (Fairfax, Va.).

Ribault (Jacksonville, Fla.) climbed from No. 11 to No. 3 in the final Super 25 girls basketball rankings after winning the Dick’s Sporting Goods High School Nationals in New York last week.

The Trojans, who also won the state 5A title, finished the season at 30-1. Junior Rennia Davis played a big role in the Dick’s title as she had 23 points in a 75-49 defeat of then-No. 4 Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro) in the championship and 20 points in 49-41 defeat of then-No. 10 Seton Catholic (Chandler, Ariz.) in a semifinal.

The other team that moved up was Seton Catholic (Chandler, Ariz.). The Sentinels (32-2) climbed from No. 10 to No. 8, based on a better finish against Ribault than Riverdale Baptist, which fell to No. 11.
