The Spartans return three starters from a state 4A semifinalist team, led by 5-8 senior PG Karissa McLaughlin (24.9 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 3.0 apg), a Florida signee. Senior SG Madisen Park (14.3 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 3.2 apg) is headed to Bowling Green and senior 6-0 F Jazmyne Geist (9.6 ppg, 6.0 rpg), who has signed with Northern Kentucky, are the other returning starters.
Senior G Teryn Kline, a Lawrence Tech signee, will get a chance to play more, but the team also has talented newcomers in 6-0 freshman F Sydney Graber, 6-0 sophomore W Haley Swing and 5-6 sophomore G Kara Gealy.
