Chef of the Week

In sports the term “cookin” is reserved for a player who goes on a scoring spree or gets hot during a game and makes big plays on the offensive end.

This week’s “Chef of the Week” award winner is Team Penny (Tenn.) forward P.J. Washington for dominating the second session of the Nike EYBL in Indianapolis.

Washington averaged 22.3 points while shooting 67 percent from the field.

His breakout game was a 30-point, 15-rebound performance against Phoenix Phamily’s Marvin Bagley, No. 1 overall player in 2018, and Cody Riley, who is ranked No. 29.

Dominance against fellow stars?

True chef behavior.

Poster of the Week

This week’s Poster of the Week winner is King James (Ohio) guard Jayvon Graves for dropping the hammer and the defender on a poster dunk.

Graves simply darted to the middle of the lane and, as it parted, rose over a defender who slid in to try and take the charge.

Bad idea.

Check it out below.

Oh No They Didn’t!

This award is reserved for the player who turned in a mind-boggling performance or play that left the crowd in a state of shock and amazement.

This week’s “Oh No They Didn’t” winner is Advanced Prep International (Dallas) shooting guard Terrance Ferguson for draining a bank-shot three-pointer then catching the ball as it fell through the net, bringing it between his legs and throwing down a one-hander.

Did you get all that?
