Move over, Erin Martin. There’s a new all-time scoring leader in high school girls soccer.

As reported by Dallas-Fort Worth NBC affiliate KXAS, South Hills star Esmie Gonzales scored a whopping nine goals in a 10-0 rout of Trimble Tech, pushing her career total to 294 goals. That’s eight more than the previous record held by the aforementioned Martin, who starred at California school Temple City from 1989-93.

Gonzales’ career goals mark is more than 100 more than the prior Texas state record, and she’s continued to excel despite facing double teams throughout her senior season.

The South Hills captain has signed to compete for Southeast Missouri State in the fall. First, she’s focused on finishing her senior season the right way, possibly reaching 300 goals and helping her teammates achieve as many goals together as possible.

“My teammates, I love them,” Gonzales told KXAS. “They’re the ones that help me, and they even know that it’s a big accomplishment for me. But I couldn’t do it without them.”
