Emory Jones, one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the class of 2018, announced his commitment to Ohio State on Friday using the video above produced by Bleacher Report.
“They’ve been my dream school since I was growing up and Braxton Miller’s been my favorite quarterback,” Jones told 247Sports in a recent interview. “I love the university here, I just love everything they have to offer me. I love Coach (Urban) Meyer and I love Braxton Miller just by what he had done in their offense. It was just what I like.”
A star at Heard County (Franklin, Ga.), Jones, of course, will join a host of star quarterbacks in Columbus, including top 2017 dual-threat QB Tate Martell from Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas).
Ranked as the No. 3 dual-threat QB in the class by the 247Sports Composite, Jones chose the Buckeyes over Tennessee and several others.
He is the second 2018 commit for Ohio State, which got a commitment from four-star running back Brian Snead at the recent Friday Night Lights camp that Jones also attended.
