Mt. Juliet 39, Wilson Central 32

Mt. Juliet (4-2, 2-1 3-6A) scored 32 points in the fourth quarter and overtime for its eighth consecutive win over Wilson Central (5-1, 2-1). Quarterback Mason Earls scored the winning touchdown on a 6-yard run.

Mt. Juliet’s Aidan Raines rushed for 229 yards and three touchdowns. Jacob Bailey made a 27-yard field goal on the final play of regulation to force overtime.

Wilson Central’s Blake Meadors passed for 329 yards and two touchdowns, and Colton Dowell caught nine passes for 133 yards and one score.

Cane Ridge 17, Hillsboro 7

Jordan Bell rushed for 150 yards on 19 carries, including touchdown runs of 8 and 31 yards, for Cane Ridge (6-0, 3-0 6-5A). D.J. Thorpe completed 15 of 22 passes for 157 yards for the Ravens.

Hillsboro’s Jabari Goggins had a 71-yard punt return for a score to trim the deficit to 10-7 in the third quarter for Hillsboro (2-4, 1-1), but Cane Ridge answered with Bell’s 31-yard touchdown run.

Pearl-Cohn 49, Liberty 14

Pearl-Cohn’s Jimmyrious Parker rushed for 194 yards on nine carries and scored two touchdowns to lead the Firebirds (5-1). Marion Liggett rushed 10 times for 91 yards and three scores, and Xavier Shepherd completed 14 of 20 passes for 139 yards.

Goodpasture 6, Lipscomb Academy 0

Goodpasture (5-1) ran its win streak to five and beat the Mustangs (2-2) for the first time in four years. Dylan Brooks’ 7-yard TD pass from Kody Crider in the third quarter accounted for the only score.

Pope John Paul II 17, Nashville Christian 14.

Jamaal Thompson scored a pair of touchdowns for Pope John Paul II (4-2). Nashville Christian (4-2) trailed 17-7 with 4:40 left before Lelan Wilhoite’s 69-yard touchdown run closed the gap to three. The Eagles got the ball back near midfield with two minutes remaining, but were not able to move the ball.

Gallatin 34, Station Camp 27

Gallatin (5-1, 3-0 6-5A)  returned two interceptions  for touchdowns, and Jordan Mason rushed for 273 yards and three touchdowns. Tyler Thompson threw one touchdown pass and rushed for another score for Station Camp (3-3, 1-2).

Columbia Academy 34, Fayetteville 32

Columbia Academy (4-0, 4-0 4-1A) scored twice in the final 5:44 to hold off Fayetteville (4-2, 3-1) for its 18th straight district/region win. Tre Davidson rushed for 135 yards and two scores and Logan Neal had 140 yards and a TD for Columbia Academy. Brandon Moore rushed 19 times for 108 yards and two TDs for Fayetteville.

Page 45, BGA 7 

Freshman Donald Johnson rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns to lead Page (3-2) past BGA (4-2).  Jacob Van Landingham scored two rushing touchdowns and added 168 yards passing and a score for the Patriots.

Waverly 33, Cheatham Co. 14

Montez Bradley rushed for 205 yards and scored four touchdowns for Waverly (5-1) in the win over Cheatham County (4-2). Gavin Stanfield threw for 94 yards and had a TD. Daisuan Whitfield picked off two passes.
