Prolific Prep (Napa, Calif.) wing Josh Jackson is unabashed about his “no holds barred, win at all cost” mindset; in fact, he’s downright proud of it.

“Winning is the only thing that matters to me,” Jackson told USA Today High School Sports at the McDonald’s All American Game in March.

That’s why it should come as a shock to no one who’s truly paid attention that Jackson, the top uncommitted player in the country, took to Twitter to announce that he was committing to Kansas on Monday.

Not because the other two schools on his list – Michigan State and Arizona – weren’t winning programs, but Jackson eluded to his view on Kansas’ winning ways to USA Today HSS this past weekend at the Nike Hoop Summit.

When asked which of the three coaches in his final list would have the best chance at winning the Presidency, Jackson said, “Bill Self. He’s a winner; he’s won 12-straight Big 12 titles and we’ve got the best country in the world, so we’d need a winner.”

The American Family Insurance ALL-USA first teamer, who is ranked No. 3 overall in the ESPN 100, averaged 26.9 points, 13.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game this season. He’s also won three gold medals with USA Basketball (16U, 17U and 19U), where he’s compiled a record of 20-0.

Still, Jackson said one of the accolades he was most excited of was being named Biggest Trash-Talker in the 2015 USA Today HSS Summer Ball Player’s Choice Awards.

“I was very proud of that one,” Jackson told USA TODAY HSS at the McDonald’s All American Game.

Jackson joins Potter’s House (Jacksonville, Fla.) center Udoka Azubuike and Surry Garden Christian (Gilbert, Ariz.) forward Mitch Lightfoot in the Jayhawks’ 2016 haul.

Azubuike retweeted Jackson’s tweet and Lightfoot offered this:
