Coming off a 5-1 thrashing of Seneca, Trinity High School’s boys soccer team is receiving national attention.
The Shamrocks landed at No. 22 in the second week of USA Today’s High School Super 25 boys soccer poll. Trinity is 4-0-1 on the season, with wins over Highlands, Atherton, North Hardin, and Seneca, and its lone draw against Lexington Catholic. Cameron Smith and Andrew Warren are tied for the team lead with three goals this season, and Nicholas Ash has an impressive seven assists in five games.
Trinity, also ranked No. 4 in the latest Maher Rankings, takes on 4-0-2 Henderson Co. in their next game on Wednesday.
