Auburn Hills Avondale 57, Troy Athens 40: Avondale’s Ty Bland scored 16 points, and Dom Kejbou added 15 points. For Troy, Hunter Nelson led the team with nine points. Avondale improves to 4-3.

Belleville 53, Redford Thurston 33: Davion Williams had a huge game with 26 points for Belleville. Brandon Marshall scored 14 points for Thurston.

Birmingham Detroit Country Day 54, Birmingham Groves 43: Paul Mocor led with 17 points for Country Day (4-4). Ashton Franklin scored 12 points. Ben Levin scored 12 points for Groves (4-3) Drew Sheckal contributed 12 points.

Canton 68, Westland Glenn 54: Canton’s Obi Okoli scored 15 points, and Logan Ryan added 11 points. Glenn’s Terrence Mclemore scored 11 points. Canton is now 8-0, 2-0 in KLAA South. John Glenn falls to 2-5, 0-2 in the KLAA South.

Dearborn Edsel Ford 71, Dearborn Heights Crestwood 68: Edsel’s Jalal Baydoun scored 13 points and five assists, and hit the game winning three pointer, and five assists.. Melessio Kendrick scored 23 points, and Chad Gailliard added 19 points. Crestwood’s Jeffrey Saad scored 16 points. Crestwood is 3-3, and Etsel Ford is 3-4.

Dearborn Heights Robichaud 73, Garden City 64: Shannon Woods led with 16 points and six assist for Dearborn (5-2) while Jairus Grissom contributed 15 points and 12 rebounds. Robby Moyeris scored 17 points for Garden City.

Detroit Central 60, Detroit Northwestern 59: Kavale Dorr scored 19 points for Central, and Jason Davis added 16 points. Central improves to 5-2, 2-1 in conference play.

Detroit Denby 42, Detroit CMA 39: Dakota Lewis led with 16 points for Denby (5-2) while Calvin Siebert added 10 points. William Goodwin scored 10 points. John Phillips scored 10 points for CMA (4-2).

Detroit Douglass 63, Detroit Southeastern 50: For Douglas, Kelly Broadus scored 22 points, James Smith III added 15 points, and Kamar Graves chipped in 10 points and 10 rebounds. Southeastern’s Davon Pippen led all scorers with 27 points, and Alante Coward added 13 points. Douglas improves to 4-5, and 3-0 in the PSL.

Detroit Edison 80, Hazel Park 61: Detroit’s Deante Johnson scored 20 points and 10 rebounds. Edward Carter III added 12 points, 11 assists and five rebounds. Hazel Park’s Carl Bow scored 22 points. Edison improves to 7-1.

Detroit Henry Ford 66, Detroit King 52: Henry Ford’s James Towns scored 19 points and six assists. Austin Hunter added 14 points and five rebounds. Kavon Bey contributed 13 points and seven rebounds. For King, Eathan Blackwell scored 13 points, and Keyon Brown added 12 points. Henry Ford is now 4-4, 2-1 in the PSL, and King is 5-3, 2-1 in PSL play.

Detroit Pershing 82, Detroit Osborn 77 (OT):  Dave Syfax led Pershing with 31 points and 10 rebounds, and Djuan Feal also added 16 points. Osborn’s Rashad Zimmerman scored 18 points. Pershing improves to 3-5, 1-2. Osborn is 4-3, 1-2.

Detroit Renaissance 43, Detroit Cass Tech 37: Renaissance’s Justin Turner had 23 points and eight rebounds. For Cass, Darwin Hubbard scored 11 points. Renaissance improves to 7-0, 3-0 in the PSL, and Cass slides to 3-4, 1-2 in the PSL.

Flint International Academy 59, Owendale-Gagetown 58: Owendale’s Jacob Wright scored 30 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. David Binder also scored 14 points for Owendale. Flint’s Makai Richards scored 14 points, and Bequariom Williams added 13 points.

Grosse Pointe North 70, Harrison Township L’Anse Creuse 41: Grosse Pointe’s Mitchell Zacharias led all scorers with 14 points. Jared Jordan and Steven Levick also scored 12 points each.

Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett 63, Allen Park Inter-City Baptist 57: Grosse Pointe’s Spencer Ewing scored 19 points, seven assists and eight rebounds, and Anthony George had 14 points. Allen Park’s Garrett Kraatz scored 29 points. GP improves to 4-4.

Harper Woods 68, Novi Franklin Road Christian 65: Jaylen Brown had a monster game with 31 points for Harper Woods (5-2) while A.J. Wilson added 12 points. Austin Hearns scored 21 points for Novi (5-3).

Harper Woods Chandler Park 71, Romulus Summit Academy 50: Chandler Park’s Jalen Martin scored 26 points and 10 rebounds. Javon Duren also added 14 points, and Matthew Richmond dished 12 assists. Summit’s K. Wright scored 17 points. Park improves to 5-1, 2-0 in Charter School Conference play.

Novi 77, South Lyon East 40: Kam Hankerson led all scorers with 17 points and seven steals. Novi improves to 4-4.

Onaway Area 80, Mancelona 22: Onaway’s Joe Sigsby scored 31 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists. Cortez Washington added 12 points and six assists, and Brad Brewbaker also scored 12 points and eight steals for Onaway. Onaway is now 5-0.

Orchard Lake St. Mary’s 61, Oak Park 52: C.J. Wilson led with 23 points for Orchard Lake (2-4). Nick Gischia added 17 points. Rob Zanders scored 13 points for Oak Park while Messiah Alford contributed 12 points.

Rochester Adams 56, Lake Orion 35: Rochester’s Spencer Littleson and Joey Ziniti both scored 15 points, and Michael Girdler added 13 points. Lake Orion was led by David Gomez with 22 points. Rochester improves to 7-0, and Lake Orion slides to 4-3.

Roseville 67, Romeo 48: Roseville’s Zavon Godwin scored 16 points. Abdono Berry added 16 points. TJ Anderson added 10 points. Roseville improves to 5-1, and Romeo slides to 2-4.

Southfield Bradford 74, Dearborn Heights Star 34: Southfield’s Treavian Purifoy and Keyshaun Hayes both scored 15 points. For Star, Muhammed Bazzi scored 12 points. Bradford improves to 3-2, 1-1 in the Charter School Conference.

Southfield Christian 83, Plymouth Christian 35: Southfield was led by Marlo Brown with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Plymouth’s Matt Malcolm scored 16 points. Southfield improves to 6-1, 4-0 in league play.

Warren De LaSalle 59, West Bloomfield 40: Kevin McCay had a monster game with 35 points for De LaSalle (6-2). Trishton Jackson scored nine for West Bloomfield.

Warren Michigan Collegiate 64, Detroit Old Redford 63: Damon Osley was fouled with one second left in regulation and hit one of two free throws to take the lead and ice the game for Collegiate (4-3). Justin Parker scored 15 points while Jamell Green contributed 12 points. Ka’oen Gaiper led with 18 points for Redford (2-7).

Williamston 73, Haslett 56: Williamston’s Riley Lewis scored 24 points, and Sean Cobb added 21 points. For Haslett, Luke Sleeper scored 15 points, and Brandon Allen also added 15 points. Both teams are now 5-2.
