FISHERSVILLE – Darius George poured in 24 points to pace Robert E. Lee’s boys basketball team to a 68-28 victory over Wilson Memorial in nonconference action Saturday at Wilson Memorial High School.
George scored six points and Jarvis Vaughn had seven as the Leemen (3-0) took a 21-10 lead after the first quarter. George added eight in the second quarter to help boost Lee’s lead to 41-18 at the half.
Vaughn finished in double figures with 15, while Zay Brown was high man for the Green Hornets (0-2) with 11.
Both teams return to action Tuesday. Wilson is at Broadway, while the Leemen are at Buffalo Gap.
