Navaughn Donaldson is big. He is 6-6 and 345 pounds so that’s pretty obvious.
But when recruiting analysts talk about him, they use words such as speed, power, athleticism, and well, freak.
And when fans talk about him, they use the word “difference maker.”
“My dreams in football are to be the best and to be someone that people look up to,” he said.
While many in South Florida already are hitting the fast-forward button and projecting the impact that Donaldson can make on the offensive line at the University of Miami, Donaldson still has to finish his high school season at Miami Central and with a spot in the Under Armour All-America Game.
Donaldson received his honorary jersey Thursday when the Selection Tour presented by American Family Insurance came to high school.
Donaldson is ranked as the No. 5 guard and No. 87 player overall by ESPN, although other outlets project him at tackle, where he currently plays in high school.
