Punting is in Zach Feagles’ genes.
Zach is the youngest son of Jeff Feagles, the NFL recordholder for most punting yards, total punts and punts inside the 20. Jeff was a two-time Pro Bowler and a member of the Super Bowl champion New York Giants.
The younger Feagles will get the chance to show off his punting skills at the Under Armour All-America Game on Jan. 1 in Orlando.
Zach Feagles received his honorary jersey Tuesday when the Selection Tour presented by American Family Insurance came to Ridgewood High (N.J.). He was honored in front of family, friends and classmates.
However, Feagles is not a typical punter. At 6-2, 205 pounds, he also plays fullback and enjoys running the ball and delivering hits in Ridgewood’s wing-T offense. He had 11 touchdowns as a junior despite missing three games and has 18 touchdown this season with a healthy 6.7 yards per carry.

Still, it’s his right leg will be his football future. Feagles is ranked as the No. 4 punter by Kohl’s Kicking Camps, which manages the selections of specialists for the Under Armour game.
After finishing his high school career in New Jersey, Feagles will follow his father’s footsteps by heading to the University of Miami. Jeff Feagles is the most decorated punter in Hurricanes history and the only punter in the school’s Sports Hall of Fame.
