Tre Brown has goals.
Make his hometown of Tulsa proud.
Influence the young people who come after him.
That much was clear during an emotional presentation when Brown received his honorary jersey for the Under Armour All-America Game when the Selection Tour presented by American Family Insurance came to his school, Tulsa Union. The Under Armour game is Jan. 1 in Orlando.
“I can’t tell you how blessed I am to represent my school, and better yet, my city — especially with everything going on, that is happening in the world,” Brown, an Oklahoma commit, said during an emotional ceremony. “I just want to make my city proud and pave the way for the rest of the young athletes in Oklahoma that’s right behind.”
Brown is ranked as the No. 3 player in Oklahoma by ESPN and the No. 18 cornerback. He has been clocked at 4.43 seconds. According to the Tulsa World, Brown has five career interceptions, 82 tackles and averages 31.4 yards on kickoff returns, including two he returned for TDs.
