The newest Super 25 boys lacrosse rankings provided by 3d Rising features a new look, though the top spot is still firmly in the grips of the Hill Academy, most recently the winners of the Crossover Clash with IMG Academy’s national team.

The Pride used a nine-goal run spanning the third and fourth quarters to run away from the Ascenders for a convincing 18-8 victory at the Pinnacle Sports Complex in Victor, N.Y.

The win differential creates some movement in the upper part of the rankings. Sliding up are idle but 1-0 Victor (N.Y.) and Calvert Hall (Md.), a team that lost to the Hill Academy 11-7 on March 17 while playing without one of its top players.

Deerfield Academy (Mass.) , thanks to a 13-10 win in a much-anticipated game against rival Brunswick School (Conn.) on April 2, jumps to No. 5 behind IMG Academy.

New Canaan out of Connecticut is propelled to the No. 9 spot after a 9-8 overtime win against Loyola Blakefield of Maryland’s MIAA ‘A’ Conference on April 2.

With some results happening between Maryland and Long Island squads, the shuffling continued as a new face entered and some older faces returned.

Long Island Class C powerhouse Cold Spring Harbor and Class A contender Syosset return to the rankings after games have played out to expose the quality of their early season results. Additionally, undefeated Monte Vista from Northern California slides in thanks to its win against St. Ignatius Prep (San Francisco) that just helped shake up the rankings among Long Island’s notable programs.
