VIDEO: 4-star 2017 hoops recruit Lonnie Walker throws down double-pump reverse dunk

Ever seen a double-pump reverse dunk? We hadn’t either, and then we saw Lonnie Walker.

Walker, a 6-foot-5 junior at Reading High in Pennsylvania, is one of the top overall prospects in the Class of 2017. He’s a 4-star junior guard who has received attention and scholarship offers from the likes of Indiana, UCLA, Villanova and Oregon, among others. He’s a star, and he’s an absolute freak of an athlete.

If there were any question about the second part of that equation, it was likely answered during a recent showdown against area rival Wilson, when Walker received the ball on a breakaway and elevated for a double-pump reverse dunk.

Yes, a double-pump reverse dunk. In mid-air. It might seem impossible if it weren’t captured on video for posterity thanks to CBS Sports/MaxPreps.

The slam was just two of Walker’s team-high 18 points in Reading’s 63-43 victory. It goes without saying they were the most emphatic. Hopefully it won’t be last time we see Walker pull out the double-pump reverse before he graduates in spring 2017, too.
