VIDEO: 5-foot-5 Melvin Lee throws down monster jam between defenders

At 5-foot-5, Melvin Lee is diminutive, even for a guard. That doesn’t mean he can’t contend at the rim, as the Milwaukee Riverside junior showed during a recent contest.

That’s Lee — remember he’s just 5-foot-5, mind you — elevating for a remarkable jam between two defenders. Yes, it wasn’t enough for Lee to rise all the way up to the rim after taking off from just a couple feet inside the free throw line. He did it while out-hustling and mustling two different defenders to the rim.

Lee has yet to receive major recruiting attention, which may not be surprising given his stature. Of course, that was before collegiate coaching staffs saw him get all the way up for this dunk. It’ll be pretty hard to look at Lee like any other small guard again after that.
